Federal Energy Minister Angus Taylor has called for a national energy framework to boost industry transparency across the country. Speaking at an Energy and Climate summit, Mr Taylor pushed for policymakers to be more upfront about energy plans. There were fears states going it alone was putting the efficiency of the national market at risk. Mr Taylor said the Commonwealth would submit a framework for public sector energy policies to the Energy Committee of Cabinet.
