Who do the people of Tigray blame for the crisis? | DW News

DW News published this video item, entitled “Who do the people of Tigray blame for the crisis? | DW News” – below is their description.

In Ethiopia’s northern state of Tigray, authorities are warning the region is on the brink of famine.

Tigray’s interim president says at least 90 percent of people there are at risk of starvation. He said the crisis was triggered by the Tigray war, which ended 14 months ago, as well as drought and a lack of aid.

The Ethiopian government in Addis Ababa says the claims are exaggerated.
