It’s another extraordinary revelation from one of history’s darkest chapters. A new book tells the story of how the leaders of Germany’s Third Reich were hooked on hard drugs – including cocaine, heroine, morphine and what’s now known as crystal meth.
And it wasn’t just the men at the top. Much of Germany’s military early success, the author claims, was fueled by soldiers high on amphetamine. The author of ‘Blitzed’, Norman Ohler joins us.
