Abhorrent, offensive, and despicable: senior Republicans turn on Donald Trump after he brags about using his fame to prey on women. But he says he’ll never quit.

In a hastily prepared video statement – the Republican nominee apologised for making highly offensive and lewd comments about women. No fewer than 17 leading Republicans have declared they can no longer support him.
