Nauru’s parliament approved and passed a motion in relation to the restoration of full diplomatic relations with the People’s Republic of China on January 16.
CGTN interviewed Nauruans and Chinese working in Nauru to share their anticipation of cooperation between the two countries. Nauruan student Rose says that she hopes China and Nauru can establish a closer cooperative relationship to jointly promote economic development and cultural exchanges and bring more benefits to the two peoples.
