Protesters flooded into New York’s Grand Central station and the Brooklyn Bridge as they protested in support of Palestinians and demanded a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas conflict.
There were no reports of violence but NYPD officers arrested hundreds of protesters.
Meanwhile, a large group took over the streets of Brooklyn on Saturday to declare their support for Palestinians amid the Israeli offensive.
The group began their march at the Brooklyn Museum before making their way across the Brooklyn Bridge.
