The United States President has called for Gaza’s biggest hospital to be protected, after the World Health Organisation said the Al Shifa hospital was no longer able to function.

The Al-Quds Hospital has ceased operations with preparations made to evacuate 6,000 people, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent.

Israel claimed it killed 21 fighters who were shooting at its forces near the hospital.
