The rift between Poland and the rest of the European Union is widening after a court in Warsaw found ITS rulings could override EU law.

Judges in Poland’s top court have said EU courts don’t have legal authority over the country’s constitution. The European Commission says it will use all its powers to enforce its laws. The ruling is raising questions about Poland’s place in the 27-member bloc.
