Sky News published this video item, entitled “Phosphorus used in Gaza, British-Palestinian doctor says | Israel-Hamas war” – below is their description.
A British-Palestinian surgeon who worked in both al Shifa and al Ahli hospitals in Gaza after the war broke out says he treated phosphorus burns.
“We started seeing phosphorus burns. I had treated white phosphorous burns in the Gaza Strip during the 2009 war,” Professor Ghassan Abu Sitta claimed.
At the burns unit in al Shifa, he said some 40-45% of the wounded were children, and the primary target of the bombing was residential homes.
In a statement the IDF said it “uses only legal weapons and ammunition”.
WARNING: You many find some of Professor Abu Sitta’s testimony distressing.
