Pakistan’s Olympic woes continue in Rio

For the first time since its independence in 1947, not a single Pakistani athlete was able to qualify for the Rio Olympic Games.

The country’s hockey team, which has three gold medals to its name and was once considered among the best in the world, failed to make the cut.
