Shockingly, 90% of migrants who enter the European Union pay smugglers who make false promises, often leading to fatal outcomes. As you observe footage of these treacherous journeys, you may question why anyone would embark on such a dangerous trip. While there are various reasons, one factor is the spread of inaccurate information and disinformation online.
