Global News published this video item, entitled “Gaza resident gets warning phone call before Israeli airstrike demolishes his building” – below is their description.
A resident of Khan Younis received a phone call from Israeli security on Wednesday, urging him to evacuate a building in his neighbourhood within 10 minutes before it became a target for an airstrike.
Shortly after the warning call, the sound of missiles was heard in the sky and the ground shook and black smoke rose from the building, not only demolishing it but also causing massive damage to the whole neighbourhood.
Nearly 450 buildings in the Gaza Strip have been destroyed or badly damaged, including six hospitals and nine primary-care health centres, since the escalation of violence.
For the 10th day in a row, Israel continued to bombard Gaza with airstrikes and Palestinian militants kept up cross-border rocket fire, with no firm sign of any imminent ceasefire despite international calls to end the fighting.
