CBC News published this video item, entitled “Doug Ford reverses Greenbelt plan” – below is their description.
The Ontario government is reversing a controversial land swap plan for the largest greenbelt in the world.
Ontario’s Greenbelt is a vast 810,000-hectare area of protected farmland, forest and wetland stretching around the Greater Toronto Area, from Niagara Falls to Peterborough. It’s meant to be permanently off limits to development.

Ford announced the reversal at a news conference in Niagara Falls, Ont. The decision comes after weeks of pressure and two minister resignations.
