    The number of coronavirus deaths in Argentina has surpassed 100,000, making it the fifth Latin American country to exceed that figure.

    It recorded 614 new deaths in the past 24 hours alone.

    But COVID-19 infections have fallen since hitting a peak last month and experts are hoping its vaccination campaign will bring cases down further.
