    Britney Spears said she wanted her father charged with conservatorship “abuse” on Wednesday in the latest court hearing over the controversial arrangement.

    The 39-year-old pop star demanded that her father Jamie Spears be stripped of legal control of her career and finances as she addressed a Los Angeles court for the second time in less than a month.

    In a victory for the singer, Judge Brenda Penny, who oversaw the hearing, permitted her request to hire a lawyer of her choosing.
