Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow spoke with the media following the Bengals’ 24-17 Wild Card playoff win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night that saw the Bengals’ defense come up with a play that will be discussed for many years to come.
Linebacker Logan Wilson knocked the ball out of the hands of Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley as he tried to stretch the ball over the goal line and into the hands of Burrow’s good friend, Sam Hubbard, who raced for an NFL playoff record 98-yard fumble return for a touchdown that gave the Bengals the points needed to hold off their always formidable AFC North rival for a second straight weekend.
After the game, Burrow talked about his reaction to watching Hubbard run with the ball and how his teammates on both sides of the ball continued to step forward and make plays to help the Bengals continue their winning ways.
Next for Burrow and the Bengals is a trip to Buffalo to take on Josh Allen and the Bills in AFC Divisional playoff action. A win next Sunday would place the Bengals in their second consecutive AFC Championship Game.
