Bengals Head Coach Zac Taylor | Reflects On Past Season – Looks To Bright Future

Dave Lapham In The Trenches published this video item, entitled “Bengals Head Coach Zac Taylor | Reflects On Past Season – Looks To Bright Future” – below is their description.

The Cincinnati Bengals finished the 2023 season outside of the playoffs but with a winning 9-8 record.

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor knows the past season was one of ups and downs as quarterback Joe Burrow missed training camp but returned to open the season against AFC North battles and a Burrow only capable of doing certain parts of the Bengals offense.

Just when it looked like Burrow was back, he was gone for the season with a wrist injury suffered against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 11. In stepped unproven Jake Browning, and after a rough first career start, Browning stepped forward to lead the Bengals to four wins and kept them in the playoff hunt until Week 17 of the season.

After winning the final game of the season against the Cleveland Browns 31-14, officially ending the season, Taylor, who met with players on Monday morning, knows the offseason will bring change on who will make up the 2024 version of the Bengals.

Monday, Taylor spoke with the media to reflect on the season and talk about what the future might bring, as some key players have contracts expiring that may see them depart the team for other opportunities or see the Bengals decide to move in a different direction.

What will the future hold for receivers Tee Higgins, Tyler Boyd, and others with expired contracts?

No matter what happens, Taylor feels the future of the Cincinnati Bengals looks bright going forward.
