Hitachi Consulting Bags $3.8 Million Contract with US Government

Hitachi Consulting has bagged a $3.8 million contract with the US government to develop a case management system for social services operating on or near native American reservations.

The multi-year contract is between Hitachi Consulting and the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA). To improve delivery of the Human Services Program, the BIA has selected a Microsoft Dynamics CRM and SharePoint solution.

John Bush, Senior Vice President and U.S. Public Sector practice leader for Hitachi Consulting said:

“We are pleased that our extensive experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 combined with our business process knowledge matched BIA’s specific requirements. We look forward to leveraging these differentiators to help BIA strengthen its social services program and achieve new operating efficiencies.”

Hitachi, Ltd., has its headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.It is a global electronics company with around 360,000 employees worldwide. Fiscal 2009 (ended March 31, 2010) consolidated revenues were 8,968 billion yen ($96.4 billion).

Hitachi is focussing on Social Innovation Business, which includes information and telecommunication systems, power systems, environmental, industrial and transportation systems, and social and urban systems, as well as the sophisticated materials and key devices that support them.
