Wow! HIGHBANK looks potential Classic material at Newmarket

Racing TV published this video item, entitled “Wow! HIGHBANK looks potential Classic material at Newmarket” – below is their description.

He looks exciting!

Highbank is a beautifully-bred colt by Kingman and this expensive buy makes a very nice start to his career for Charlie Appleby and Godolphin under Jack Mitchell on the July Course at Newmarket.

Appleby has a good record in this novice race and struck with Modern Games last year, the subsequent Breeders’ Cup winner and French 2,000 Guineas winner.

Mitchell described the experience of quickening aboard Highbank as similar to going through the gears in a Ferrari in his post-race interview, while Appleby mused a tilt at the Group 3 Solario Stakes at Sandown Park next ahead of a potential Classic campaign early next year.

Either way, this colt is one to be positive about and he’s likely to rank significantly higher yet.
