Snoopy Loopy claimed a dramatic victory in the Betfair Chase at Haydock after hot favourite Kauto Star crashed out at the final fence.

Paul Nicholls’ star chase had been bidding for a third successive win in the race but unseated Sam Thomas after an error which allowed Snoopy Loopy to charge home for a shock success under Seamus Durack.
