Ballydoyle work rider enjoys first winner in three years!

Racing TV published this video item, entitled “Ballydoyle work rider enjoys first winner in three years!” – below is their description.

There are worse jobs than being a work rider at Ballydoyle and Killian Hennessy made a winning return to race-riding in the feature Boylesports Ulster Derby.

Partnering the exciting Tower Of London, the pair were impressive winners at Down Royal for Aidan O’Brien in the familiar silks of Messrs Smith, Magnier, Tabor and Westerberg.

The 5/2 favourite was kept wide throughout by Hennessy and the pair flashed home to score by four and a quarter-lengths.

Hennessy’s last victory came in the Ballysax Stakes back in July 2020 and he discussed the thrill of being back in the winners’ enclosure.
