In the last match of their Asia Tour, BVB faced the Vietnamese national team in Hanoi. At first, everything went as expected, with Dortmund taking the lead in the 13th minute through the in-form Donyell Malen. But then the Vietnamese suddenly equalised before the break through Tien Linh. In the second half, BVB had several good chances, but failed to take advantage of them. Vietnam managed to secure the surprise 2-1 victory in the 90th minute through a penalty kick from Tuan Hai. There was a curious incident shortly before the penalty as BVB keeper Marcel Lotka briefly managed to damage the crossbar… have you ever seen a goal being lift off its hinges?
