It was one of the biggest goalfests of the 2011/12 Bundesliga season. Despite dominating the game, Borussia Dortmund were only 1-0 up at half-time. But the second half turned into a real ding-dong battle with plenty of goals. First, Shinji Kagawa put BVB ahead and when Jakub ‘Kuba’ Blaszczykowski even extended the lead, the win seemed almost a foregone conclusion. But Stuttgart were able to strike back thanks to a brace from Julian Schieber. At full-time, BVB remained undefeated in 22 games and extended their ongoing club record.
