The Urban Horse Project brings horses to the urban diverse youth in Vancouver. The children learn a lot about self-awareness, self-control, and their effect on others from the horses. The weekly program is also a second “job chance” for horses. Most of them are former trail riding horses who now have the chance to work in a less physical “job”.
