Tour de France 2020 – Un jour Une histoire : Tony Martin

Depuis sa victoire sur l’étape de Cambrai, Tony Martin porte le Maillot Jaune pour la première fois de sa vie. L’étape du Havre ne présente pas de difficulté susceptible de menacer sa position au sommet du classement général. Mais immédiatement après l’entrée dans le dernier kilomètre, le rouleur allemand chute lourdement et se brise l’épaule droite. Au courage, il rejoint l’arrivée épaulé de ses coéquipiers dont le champion du monde Michal Kwiatkowski, et pendant qu’un autre coureur de la Quick Step, Zdenek Stybar, vient de le ver les bras. Les deux ont les honneurs du podium, mais pour Martin la cérémonie a un goût amer. Il se doute déjà qu’il ne prendra pas le départ le lendemain.
