On December 3rd, two of the world’s top heavyweight boxers will face off in what promises to be an interesting match, albeit not the one boxing fans had hoped for.
Tyson Fury, the current WBC heavyweight champion, will put his title on the line against challenger Derek Chisora. This will be the third time these two boxing titans have faced each other in the ring – with Fury having won both previous encounters with relative ease, leading many to question the merit of this bout.
Despite having said he may retire from the sport, Fury then called out both Anthony Joshua and Oleksander Usyk, before failing to secure a bout with either fighter, having said he definitely wanted to fight in December 2022.
Fans also wanted to see a fight with another British heavyweight Joe Joyce, who has been putting in impressive performances of late, including a recent victory over Fury’s new training partner, Joseph Parker.
BT Sport Boxing published this video item, entitled “Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora press conference! Heavyweight gold on the line on December 3rd!” – below is their description.
Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora come face-to-face for the first time ahead of their clash for the WBC World Heavyweight Championship at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
