When talking about coaches on Zac Taylor’s Cincinnati Bengals staff leaving for different jobs, one name that should be talked about more with fans is wide receivers coach Troy Walters. However, NFL teams have noticed Walters’s work and have him as a name to watch for offensive coordinator jobs and even as a possible future head coach in the league.
Walters, who played in the NFL for eight seasons and has been with the Bengals since the 2020 season, has been in charge and mentored Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd, helping each show their talents.
With young players, Charlie Jones and Andrei Iosivas in the fold and the possibility of Higgins and Boyd playing for new teams, his role on the staff is even more important.
