QB Ian Book passed for three TDs and 312 yards on 30 attempts in addition to picking up 40 yards on the ground as the Notre Dame Fighting Irish beat the Pittsburgh Panthers 45-3. One of the most thrilling moments was Skowronek’s 73-yard TD reception in the second quarter. In addition to Book, Notre Dame got help from Book, who passed for three TDs and 312 yards on 30 attempts in addition to picking up 40 yards on the ground. That was the first 300+ yard effort for Book this season. The Fighting Irish’s victory brought them up to 4-0. The loss dropped Pitt back to even at 3-3.
