Jun.02 — New York Mayor Bill De Blasio says the citywide curfew is to be extended for the rest of the week. “We will take immediate steps to ensure there will be peace and order today, tonight and all week in New York City,” De Blasio said at a briefing, Tuesday. Unrest has engulfed cities across the U.S. following the death of George Floyd, an unarmed black man, at the hands of a white Minneapolis police officer.
