Yemen war: Fears as vital blood bank centre faces closure
Two years of war in Yemen have killed more than 10,000 people dead. Thousands of others have died from a lack of medical facilities or starvation amid disease outbreaks.
The Saudi-led coalition’s air blockade has also prevented many from receiving treatment abroad or fleeing the conflict.
And now a vital blood transfusion centre in the war-torn country may close after Doctors Without Borders, its main sponsor, stopped providing aid to it.
