Water readings at the Hankou hydrological station on the Yangtze River dropped below warning levels last Friday. The authorities of central China’s Wuhan city also lowered the level of city’s flood emergency response. The city’s Jiangtan Park, located along the river, reopened to residents on Monday. Local residents say they can’t wait to enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Yangtze River. Wuhan saw its fourth highest water levels in history this summer. Jiangtan Park was closed for a month, as the site was waterlogged.
