The World Health Organization (WHO) has made shipments to meet the urgent medical demand in Gaza. CGTN reporter Cen Ziyuan talks to the WHO Regional Director for the Eastern Mediterranean Doctor Ahmed Al-Mandhari via Zoom on the latest medical situation in Gaza. According to Dr Al-Mandhari, the WHO sent trauma kits, emergency bags and medical essentials to treat 300,000 people in the first shipment. However, the organization is still waiting for the reopening of the Rafah border crossing to deliver more supplies. So far, doctors in Gaza are operating without medicine to put patients under anesthesia.
