Driscoll, Director of Enforcement, Securities and Exchange Commission Gurbir Grewal, and Acting Director of Enforcement for the Commodity Futures Trading Commission Gretchen Lowe announce the indictment of Samuel Bankman-Fried, founder of the now-bankrupt FTX cryptocurrency exchange.
The former boss of one of the world’s biggest cryptocurrency exchanges has been criticised after he was charged with defrauding investors out of $1.8bn (£1.5bn).
