The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) will hold a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the ongoing war in Ukraine, between the eastern European nation and Russia.
The meeting falls on Ukrainian Independence Day and six months since the start of Russia’s invasion.
In yesterday’s UNSC meeting, Russia accused Ukraine of shelling its own Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant with American-made weapons. Russia called the meeting to discuss the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) visit to the plant amid heightened tensions and multiple instances of the facility taking indirect fire.
