A UN committee is meeting on Wednesday, to tackle who should represent Afghanistan and Myanmar at the organisation.

Both countries’ democratically elected governments were toppled earlier this year.

Now, their seats at the world’s biggest diplomatic table are in limbo.

Al Jazeera’s James Bays reports from the UN headquarters in New York.
