Uk general election 2010: conservatives hold filton & bradley stoke 1The Conservative Party has won the seat in Filton & Bradley Stoke in the South West of England – a seat they held in 2005 – in the 2010 UK General Election, with a majority of 6,914 votes out of a total 48,301 votes cast.

Filton & Bradley Stoke General Election Result:

  • Jack Lopresti – Conservative – 19,686
  • Ian Boulton – Labour – 12,772
  • Peter Tyzack – Liberal Democrat – 12,197
  • John Knight – UK Independence Party – 1,506
  • David Scott – British National Party – 1,328
  • Jon Lucas – Green – 441
  • Ruth Johnson – Christian Party – 199
  • Vote Zero None of the Above – Independent – 172

The Conservative candidate gained 5.3% on the 2005 vote, while the Labour vote fell by more than 7%.
