Telesia Adams, a Tongan living in Australia, has been very concerned about her family in Tonga for almost a week since the volcanic eruption led to catastrophic destruction on the island. Recently she has been able to talk to her family on the phone. As far as she is concerned, water remains the first priority for the local people. Residents living on the islands are being evacuated to the main island. CGTN’s Liu Jiaxin talked to her via video link.
