ABC News (Australia) published this video item, entitled “Tireless work of ACT Wildlife volunteers recognised with funding boost in budget | ABC News” – below is their description.
ACT Wildlife volunteers cared for more than 1,600 native animals in 2020.
However, in many instances they’ve had to rely on local vets to treat wildlife or euthanise animals that couldn’t be saved.
But the charity has been allocated more than $100,000 per year for four years in the ACT budget, allowing the not-for-profit to pay for their very own vet.
