Thousands of endangered plants are illegally traded each year

The issue of endangered plants is one that’s often overlooked.
But it’s high on the agenda at this week’s Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species currently under way in South Africa.
In the US, endangered plants being brought in illegally are confiscated and given specialist care.
