The pitfalls facing Keir Starmer at the Labour Party Conference

The Telegraph published this video item, entitled “The pitfalls facing Keir Starmer at the Labour Party Conference” – below is their description.

This year’s Labour Party Conference offers Sir Keir Starmer both a rare opportunity and a moment of grave danger, according to Lucy Fisher, The Telegraph’s Deputy Political Editor.

The leader of the Labour Party will use the event to set out his vision for the future of the Party, away from the Conservative-dominated agenda in the Commons.

“This affords Starmer a much-needed chance to outline the party’s future direction,” she said.

“But he is also at risk of the ongoing war with the Left of the party over-shadowing the whole event.”

From interventions from future leadership contenders to threatened boycotts and disagreements over the future of the party, Sir Keir Starmer will have to negotiate a variety of challenges as he puts forward the case for Labour.
