BBC News published this video item, entitled “The eco-friendly technology saving your old t-shirts from landfill – BBC News” – below is their description.
If you’ve ever bought a band t-shirt at a gig or a printed shirt from a fashion retailer, its likely it has been made with a chemical dye or a print.
These processes make it incredibly hard for them to be recycled, which means it will likely end up at landfill after you’ve finished with it, adding to the 22 million tonnes of textile waste produced each year.
But eco-friendly tech being developed in Sweden could see a new era of reusable printed shirts, erasing old logos and replacing them with something new.
