NBC News published this video item, entitled “Suspect In Highland Park Shooting Faces 7 First-Degree Murder Charges” – below is their description.
The suspect in the Highland Park, Illinois shooting Robert E. Crimo III has been officially charged with seven counts of first-degree murder. According to the local state’s attorney’s office, more charges are to follow and Crimo will appear in court on July 6th. Highland Park Mayor Nancy Rotering says the pain of Monday’s shooting at a Fourth of July celebration in Highland Park, Ill. that killed seven people has “finally set in.” “We need to talk about why we as a nation who theoretically are celebrating freedom are … now enslaved to guns,” Rotering said.
