Mental health care for children is stretched due to high demand, lack of staff and funding.

The increasing demand for those services across the country means more children have had to wait longer for appointments.

Figures obtained by Sky News show well over a third of youngsters now have to wait longer than the 18-week NHS target to get their first assessment.
