At a South Korean seafood market, products are being more routinely tested for radiation as concerns grow about Japan’s plans to release treated water that was contaminated while cooling the damaged Fukushima nuclear power plant. Staff at the market in Seoul said they have increased the frequency of tests from three to five times a week. Fears persist in the region despite Japan’s repeated assurances that the water will not pose any health risks.
