Former foreign secretary Sir Malcolm Rifkind joins GB News to say that China and Russia ‘will be delighted’ by ongoing events in Afghanistan, which he says shows America is weaker and has less influence after being ‘humiliated.’

However, he added that China may have concerns with the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan if the risk of Islamist extremism spreads to the country’s large Muslim population.
