Guinea declared a new Ebola outbreak on Sunday after seven confirmed cases were reported and three people died from Ebola. The World Health Organization pledged to offer help regarding the epidemic. Its neighboring country Sierra Leone on Sunday activated a level two emergency response, including closing its border and heightening Ebola surveillance. Additionally, a health worker was confirmed to have contracted Ebola on the same day in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
