Al Jazeera English published this video item, entitled “Saudi Arabia announces ceasefire deal in Yemen, Houthis rebuff it” – below is their description.
Saudi Arabia is proposing a plan for a UN-supervised nationwide ceasefire in Yemen to Houthi rebels, nearly six years after its military intervention began.
The proposal would include a resumption of political talks to end the war and the reopening of Sanaa airport and Hodeidah port, whose closures have resulted in the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.
But the Houthi rebels say the air and sea blockade must be lifted first.
Al Jazeera’s Charlotte Bellis reports.
