US Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield has said Russia must “pay for the damages they have caused” and that “Ukraine is fighting a war for all of us.”
Ms Thomas-Greenfield, who is in Iceland for a Council of Europe summit, added – “we have to stand with Ukraine as long as it takes”.
