Rollout of interest-free loans prompts Canberrans to switch to solar | ABC News

It’s been almost a year in the making, but the ACT government’s sustainable household scheme has finally kicked into gear.

The interest-free loans will help households make the switch to energy efficient appliances, add rooftop solar and buy electric vehicles.

While public interest in the scheme has been strong, Chief Minister Andrew Barr says the rollout will be slow and steady.
