Some large western companies have halted operations in Russia, and the US recently banned imports of Russian oil. ‘They announced that they are stopping the import of Russian oil to the American market,’ Putin said. ‘Prices there are high, inflation is unprecedentedly high, it probably reached historic levels. They try to blame the results of their own mistakes on us.’
